Happy Friday!!! You made it.  You did it.  You survived. For most, another work week has come and gone.  This is the way so many of us live our lives, always in a rush to get to the weekend, or the next event, or the next life milestone.  I have been very guilty of this.  I was always waiting for the next thing, looking ahead, wishing my girls to the next stage, but in the last year of my life, God has really been working on my heart and perspective.  I have come to realize what all I have missed by trying to hurry life along.  For example, we work 5 days a week, longing for those 2 weekend days to arrive.  5 days...there is a lot good that can and does happen in those 5 weekdays.  Yes, they can be quite hectic, but slow down, enjoy them. Life is so incredibly short.  I love my weeknights with my family.  It's when our best talks happen, around the supper table, or in the sitting room late at night.  I also love my work days visiting with the eclectic group of women around me and talking with and meeting our customers...it's therapy.

My oldest daughter is a Senior this year and I am holding on and cherishing every second I get with her, because all too soon, we will be packing her up for college and I will be longing for her to drop by work to see me, surprise me with a drink, her "mom, Mom, MOM", her daily calls just to hear me breathe, her messy bedroom and bathroom...well maybe most of it. :) No, actually I will just miss everything.  My sentimental emotion is in overdrive this year.  But, instead of looking and dreading what this time next year will feel like, I am trying hard to enjoy each day I have with her...and Maggie.  The old me would be fretting over something that's going to happen a year from now.  Something I  can't change the outcome or the inevitable, but what I can do is enjoy now.  "Now" is where I choose to use my energy and focus.  I hope you will choose this too...or maybe you have already figured this all out...feel free to encourage the rest of us with your advice.  :)

Lexi, modeling for us at our Fall Photo Shoot @The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, IL..if you have never been to this Pumpkin Patch, you must visit.  It's amazing and was featured on the Martha Stewart program.

Now on to something a little less "heavy" for this Friday Evening.....clothing! Usually I tend to gravitate towards more muted tones, but this top really "spoke to me" when I saw it hanging in the store.  Yes, I am the buyer, and I'm the one who picks the items out, but in the hustle and bustle of the work flow, we all miss what comes in the boxes until we are in dire need of an outfit! The Afternoon In Charlotte Blouse (similar missy) is the kind of fit I look for in a top.  I like a flowy top to pair with a skinny jean (same missy jean here or here) and boot. This is what I consider "easy dressing".  It's stylish and comfortable, which is a must.  As always, I have on my Ahh-Mazing Shaper Tank under the Blouse.  I've also styled it with my favorite denim jeans (same missy jean here or here)  and boots

I hope you all have a great weekend.  As usual, it's busy for us...I will post pics on Monday of our weekend activities.  As always, if you ever have any questions for me, please feel free to email me! stephanie@glamourfarms.com

Here's a song I'm loving right now, if you don't already know it, go check it out, Hillsong United, Touch The Sky.  Love the lyrics.  I love any song that moves and speaks to my soul.

My heart beating, my soul breathing
I found my life when I laid it down
Upward falling, spirit soaring
I touch the sky when my knees hit the ground

Find me here at Your feet again
Everything I am, reaching out, I surrender
Come sweep me up in Your love again
And my soul will dance
On the wings of forever

Love & Many Blessings,
