A SUPER EASY "FALL" DIY

Posted by Stephanie Harrison on

Fall is the perfect time to find our inner "creative diva".  Now I would love to have all the time in the world to create some of the extravagant things I see on Pinterest...but let's be real...who has the time!?! NOT ME! :)

This little project came about because of me wanting something "fall-ish" to dress up my mantle.  I found some things I liked on Etsy...but I didn't want to wait for them to come in.

Sidenote:  Bad part of my personality...when I decide I want something, I wanted it yesterday.  Very poor personality quality that I am working on...still a long way to go, but at l least I am aware! :)

Anyway, I was at Dollar General the other day and found the perfect fall leaves to make my fall banner.  And they were only ONE DOLLAR!!!  AND...they even had clips on the back.SCORE!!! I was beyond ecstatic!  It's the small things that make my day!  I went home and put this together in less than five minutes and I love it so I decided to share with you all. Hope you enjoy.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
1.  Jute Twine
2.  Scissors
3.  Leaves (Dollar General or any craft store)
4.  Tacks (or whatever you want to hang banner)

DIRECTIONS:
1.  Cut jute to desired length.
2.  Tie ends
3.  Hang Leaves
4.  Hang banner where ever you choose.  I used tacks but anything would work.
